Susan Marie Dabney

Susan has trained at several prestigious schools around the country, including The Joffrey Ballet School, the School of American Ballet and programs in Los Angeles, and North and South Carolina.
Susan has performed numerous shows with many ballet companies as a principal dancer, soloist and guest artist. She danced as a principal with the Los Angeles Classical Ballet company in the Nutcracker, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Paqutia, Rhapsody and Rhythm, Giselle, Cinderella, and Swan Lake, to name a few. She performed at the Francisco Martinez Dance Theater in such ballets as “I Took a Look at My Soul the Other Day,” “I Never Saw Another Butterfly,” “One Voice,” and “How’s Your Romance.” While at the University of South Carolina, she was a principal dancer in many performances. She also performed with the Carolina Ballet as a principal guest artist and as a soloist dancer with the Columbia City Ballet.
Susan has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, performing with the Los Angeles Classical Ballet and on a Snapple Juice commercial with the Los Angeles Classical Ballet. She has won numerous scholarships and has taught at Upstate Carolina Dance Center, Carolina Ballet, Florence Ballet Academy, Academy of Dance Arts, and the Long Beach Ballet Arts Center.
