Leah Brinkley

Petite, Junior, Senior Jazz Company, Teen Company, Jumps and Turns, Cheerleader Class

Leah Brinkley has spent the last 19 years of her life either performing, teaching, or choreographing dance. Born and raised in Irmo, SC, she grew up training and competing with the Southern Strutt.

While in her competition years Leah won numerous scholarships, including outstanding performer, and was a national title winner. She has traveled all over the country and performed in many showcases, including “Carnival” Choreographers Showcase, “Stacia” Live Concert in Los Angeles, as well as the Tribeca Theatre Broadway Showcase in New York City.

Leah lived in Los Angeles, where she trained, auditioned, and danced. She did commercial and industrial work, including a national Calvin Klein fragrance commercial and work for Viacom Productions. Leah spent six months as a featured dancer for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Today Leah enjoys teaching at Southern Strutt as well as traveling to teach master classes and choreograph. When not dancing, Leah enjoys playing ice hockey for the Columbia Hotflash women’s team.
